My Story

I am Mary Mucangi. From a young age, I loved writing letters back when the post office was our main way of communication. I would write, rewrite, and proofread carefully, determined to send out something beautiful and free of errors. As I grew older, people often commended me for how I expressed myself, whether in writing or speaking. That’s when I discovered writing was more than a hobby; it was a gift. A gift to breathe life into the hopeless and to inspire everyone who reads or hears my words.

I am a mother to many, a mentor, a counseling psychologist and a pastor’s wife. I live in Meru County with my husband Bishop Richard Mucangi. Together we pastor Deliverance church int’l Nkubu. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters Joyful and Shalom.

“In the end, talking about God’s holiness is not a popular thing. One reason is that the wickedness saturating the human heart and mind makes it almost impossible to grasp the meaning of God’s holiness, let alone recognize our need for it. Yet it is God’s holiness that awakens us to our fallen nature, even though it is the very element we often fail to identify with.”
